Baby photography is so much more than just the newborn stage! Every day brings new and exciting changes, and in the blink of an eye, your teeny tiny newborn will become a cheeky, giggly baby with the most gorgeous little personality! They change so much within the first year and you will always treasure these memories.

An age that is often overlooked but is one of my favourites is the 'sitter' stage! This is when your baby is between 7-10 months old and can sit unaided, but isn't on the move yet. I’ve been a baby photographer in Bristol for a few years now, and trust me, this is the sweet spot! Think baker’s dozen thighs and gorgeous gummy smiles, without the wanton destruction that comes with unbridled curiosity and full mobility! 

These older baby photography sessions capture a mixture of baby on their own, with parent, sibling and family portraits too. It's a lovely opportunity to update your family photos, whilst remembering this fleeting in-between stage during your baby's first year earthside.

Before you know it, you'll be baking a cake and blowing up balloons!

If your little one is between 11-14 months, you can book a 1st birthday photoshoot! This will include all of the usual family and baby portraits, but you also get use of my neutral 'One' themed props. Plus, we end the session with a splash around in the cutest bubble bath - your baby will love it!
