Life passes by in the blink on an eye, and therefore it’s so important to preserve every moment possible.

The birth of a newborn baby is so exciting, but the experience rushes past so fast that often people forget to take a pause and capture those memories before they are gone for good.

As a photographer, I understand the importance of capturing those little details that will stay with you forever. Those tiny little toes, soft rolls and furrowed brows will not be around for long. I have so many people getting in touch to book a shoot of their months old little one, who always mention the regret of not booking a newborn shoot when their baby was first born.

I can’t stress enough how treasured the photos from your shoot will be. It’s so important for your baby to grow up seeing those beautiful family memories, surrounding them with the love they deserve from the day they are born.

I recommend booking in your newborn shoot whilst you’re still pregnant to ensure you don’t miss out. The ideal timeframe for a newborn shoot is when your baby is between 5 to 14 days old. If your baby is older than this then do not fret, we will still be able to capture some gorgeous images of them that will be a lasting reminder of this wonderful stage of their lives.
